This American Heart Association book contains updated content from the 2005 AHA Guidelines.
This book contains updated content and many new illustrations for credentialed healthcare providers. This book covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Included is a CD that contains supplemental information on topics such as stroke, cardiac arrest, and special resuscitation situations.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
