This book contains three core modules (General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies) and an optional module (Environmental Emergencies). The modules contain information on how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Shrink-wrapped with the book are the Heartsaver First Aid Quick Reference Guide and a CD containing supplemental information to refresh First Aid skills.
