Only half of all victims of cardiac arrest will need a shock but 100% will need CPR. The Zoll AED Plus provides real-time feedback to the rescuer on the quality of CPR. In a recent large study conducted with EMS providers, defibrillators equipped with Real CPR Help were shown to more than double cardiac arrest survival rates than those without it when the individual was witnessed to have collapsed and the irregular heart rhythm was ventricular fibrillation.

This product is the Fully Automatic option of the Zoll AED Plus, which makes it as simple as possible for a lay rescuer. It is different from the standard version in that it is able to detect when the heart approaches a shockable rhythm and will deliver that shock automatically after a brief countdown.
