If you have a community or condominium association or other organization and purchased an AED, but residents don't want to be trained "designated first responders", but want to know what to do in an emergency. We can help.
A traditional HeartSaver CPR/AED course runs about 2 1/2 to 4 hours and requires participants to do manikin practice down on the floor and typically costs $45 or more a person.
This course will demonstrate how to do CPR, how to revive a choking victim and demonstrate how to use your AED by the instructor. It is supplimented by AHA video. But it does not require the participants to get down on the floor and do manikin practice and does not provide certification.
The price allows up to 30 people to attend the class. It gives residents and members and understanding of what to do in an emergency, ask questions and see how to use their AED. It is an excellent option for communities where residents would gladly help a neighbor, or family member but don't want to be a full trained responder.
