Philips HeartStart FRx AED Package with Fast Response Kit
The HeartStart FRx defibrillator is designed to be extremely rugged and durable for storage in a vehicle, duffle bag or hauling around where it can get dusty, dirty or wet. It can withstand rainfall, an 1100 pound crush test, and withstands higher temperature storage in a vehicle, even in Florida's sun. Ideal for industrial settings, schools, police departments, in addition to any location that wants compatibility with their local EMS.
Consider an FRx too if you have children less than 8 years of age and want the lowest cost of ownership of the AEDs on the market.

Designed to be rugged and easy to use by the first responder. The Philips HeartStart FRx AED will calmly coach you through the rescue. Smart pads react to what the rescuer is doing, assuring you of proper pad placement. The FRx AED will make the right shock decision. The FRx will even coach you in how to do CPR if needed.
The FRx has Quick Shock - a special feature unique to Philips AEDs. After CPR is stopped, the FRx can deliver a shock if needed in 8 seconds - the fastest of any AEDs on the market. This results in the greatest chance for survival.
The FRx pads are also compatible with any EMS defibrillators with the use of an adapter.
Can be reconfigured through the infared port on the side.
Complies with the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines. Available with a prescription.

York Police Department

I am part of the York Rotary Club, and we purchased this device for the police department. We were able to get a product that best met the needs of the department, with accessories and supplies. Both we and the police department are pleased with the value for the price.
We have had outstanding customer service through the entire process.
The Philips FRx AED is light weight, compact and appears to be user friendly. Since this was purchased for a donation, I did not study the literature, but only skimmed for highlights to cite during the presentation. The police chief was please with the available functions and warranty. This device is designed to be for a more advanced user and does require a prescription.
We also purchased the hard case to protect the device, which will be in a police car most of the time.
I would gladly purchase this device again to donate in my community when our clubs funds allow.
