Prestan Professional Manikins Comply with AHA Guidelines for CPR feedback
AHA requires CPR courses to incorporate a directive feedback device that measure and provide real-time audio or visual feedback (or both) on compression rate and depth.
How do they work?
Prestan Blue monitors provide visual feedback: When compressions are less than 60 per minute the red light shows. As speed increases the lights change color so when they are at 120 beats per minute the two green lights flash. If the student is compressing more than 120 beats per minute the yellow center light will flash giving immediate clear feedback.
Contact us if you have manikins with old CPR meters. They can be easily updated to the new monitors.
The AED trainer can be updated with a simple replacement of the module.
