 Product Description

Symbio's New STEMI ECG Simulator provides you with the ability to train on a Right Ventricular STEMI, Posterior STEMI, and STEMI Progression in addition to STEMI imposters and simulating all the typical ACLS rhythms and defibrillator and pacer training.

Right Ventricular STEMIRight Ventricular STEMI

The standard chest electrode placement V1 - V6 do not look directly at the right ventricle.  When a right ventricular STEMI is suspected, guidelines recommend relocating V4 to V4R.  the ST1501 includes a V4R snap to simulate a direct view of the right ventricle.

 Posterior STEMI

Standard chest electrode placements do not look directly at the posterior ventricle.  When a posterior STEMI is suspected, guidelines recommend relocating V5 and V6 leads to V8 and V9.  The ST1501 includes two ECG snaps for V8 and V9 to simulate the direct view of the posterior ventricle.

STEMI Progression

Changes in T waves, ST segments and Q waves occur during the minutes and hours after an occlusion.  Understanding the evolution of a STEMI is essential for correct diagnosis and treatment.  the ST1501 presents each of its seven STEMI's in three phases of progression.

This new simulator will provide an ECG waveform on your monitor for

  • Anterior STEMI,
  • Anteroseptal STEMI
  • Anterolateral STEMI
  • Anterior STEMI with RBBB
  • Inferior STEMI
  • Inferior STEMI with Right Ventricular MI
  • Inferior STEMI with Posterior MI

in addition to STEMI imposters such as"

  • LBBB - Left Bundle Branch Blocks
  • LVH - Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
  • PERI - Pericarditis
  • WPW - Wolff-Parkinson-White Type A

All the regular rhythms are also included:

  • NSR - Normal Sinus
  • VF, VT - fast and slow, SVT and S Tach - ventricular fibrillation and tachycardias
  • ASYS - Asystole,
  • AFIB, AFLTR - Atrial Fibrillation and atrial flutter
  • Sinus Bradycardia and 2nd degree AV Block type I, 2nd degree AV Block type II and 3rd degree heart blocks and associated pacemaker pulse capture.

The simulator has a three year warranty.  Choose the connector type for your defibrillator monitor.

The simulator cable connects to the defibrillator discharge cable and snap connectors for the precordial leads V1 - V6 are on the left side of the simulator, and Limb leads and V8, V9 and V4R are on the right side of the simulator.
